Dia de la Hispanidad in English

It's so hard to hide the way that I feel
When deep down inside a love that is real, is no longer mine.
Don't ask me to leave , when you know that love was all I could be.
That as long as a star keeps shining in the sky
And as long as the oceans will never run dry
That's how long I will love you.

Don't be upset, goodbye
Won't you please come back to me?
Don't set me free.

I recall how I longed for each day to begin.
Nothing mattered to me but to love Gwendolyne
But now that you have gone, and the heart plays moonbeams,
There's nothing left for me.

Please don't ask me to forget,
To forget about the past
Don't you know that I regret that our love has to go on
I believe that,,,I believe a life for you alone.

I recall how I longed for each day to begin.
Nothing mattered to me, but to love Gwendolyne.
But now that you have gone, and the heart plays moonbeams,
There's nothing left for me.

Shabby creo que significa algo así como casposo. Yo creo que habría que distinguir un poco lo que es casposo y lo que es histórico. No siempre nos tenemos que avergonzar del concepto España. Dejo un par de videos más para la reflexión...

Excuse me, but the meaning of "shabby" is not "casposo"; something shabby is "old" and "worn" (viejo y desgastado) or, somehow, in bad condition, "roñoso". "Casposo" has no proper translation to English and "cheesy" means almost the same, but in England it chiefly means "cursi".

¡¡¿Me quiere matar con el Pitigoooo hijooooo?!!!¡Undivé!
